Description: This intensive 8-month program includes the study and training of all seven disciplines of makeup artistry. Graduates will be trained to work on any type of film production; prepare the talent for theatrical and stage productions; make up models for a fashion magazine cover or runway show, and mould and sculpt creature designs and apply prosthetic appliances.

Comprehensive Makeup Artist

Description: This program is condensed into a 6-month intensive study and training of six makeup artistry disciplines. Graduates will acquire the specialized skills to work on any type of film production; prepare performers for operatic and other stage productions; make up models for a fashion magazine or runway show, and mould, sculpt and apply prosthetic appliances.

Digital Makeup Effects Artist Program: Creature and Character Design

 

Program Duration: 1 year (condensed into 17 weeks)

 

Description: This unique and groundbreaking program pairs traditional character and creature design processes to the computer software counterpart. The program prepares the student to work in special effects design for film, television and the gaming industry, and introduces the student to 3D scanning, printing and production workflows.

Advanced Fashion Makeup Artist

Program Duration: 1 year (condensed into 13 weeks)

 

Description: This 13-week program includes intensive training of makeup and hairstyling for every aspect of the professional fashion industry. Specifically designed for emerging fashion makeup artists, the curriculum consists of both hands-on training and theory including: identifying historical trends; trend forecasting relative to the Canadian and global fashion industries, and makeup and hairstyling for bridal, runway, and glamour. Graduates of this program will be prepared to work with photographers for fashion magazines, editorial shoots, weddings, and print commercial ads.
