The Advanced Fashion Makeup Artist Program

January 29th is the only 2018 start date available for The Advanced Fashion Makeup Artist Program.

The Advanced Fashion Program consists of a thorough study of every aspect of professional fashion, bridal, runway and glamour makeup, as well as hairstyling. This hands-on training is complemented by a study of modern fashion theory focusing on the local and global fashion industry. Hairstyling is also included in the program as fashion makeup artists will often be called upon to provide both makeup and hair services.

Curriculum Outline:

2-weeks Fashion Theory
4-weeks Advanced Fashion and Studio Hairstyling
7-weeks Fashion Photographic Makeup

Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will be able to

  1. Identify the major fashion influences, designers, icons and trends throughout history.
  2. Effectively translate runway makeup trends for editorial and personal clients.
  3. Complete professional makeup looks and hairstyles for fashion clients.
  4. Develop and maintain marketing materials to operate as a freelance makeup artist.
  5. Apply research and design skills to stay on top of current fashion and makeup trends and concepts.
  6. Understand how to manage a freelance business, prepare for interviews, and provide quotes and budget projects.

Graduates will receive a College Diploma in Advanced Fashion Makeup Artistry.
