Last updated: April 1, 2020

CMU College is closely monitoring the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. Please read the below instructions carefully.

Current students

Per Ontario Government’s announcement and TDSB’s latest statement, CMU has suspended face-to-face instruction in classrooms and will adopt virtual coursework through May 4, 2020.

Future students

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the closure of schools and colleges across Ontario, and to ensure the health and safety of our community, we regret to announce that we must postpone all CMU Diploma and Certificate programs originally scheduled to begin on March 30, 2020, April 27, 2020, May 4, 2020 and May 25, 2020, until further notice. We will be in touch as soon as we have more information about when in-person classes can resume and will contact you directly via email.

Open House

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the closure of schools across Ontario, we regret that we must postpone our Spring Break Open House originally scheduled for March 19. Stay tuned for a new Open House date.  In the meantime, if you’d like to receive information about any of our programs or schedule a private tour when classes are back in session, please don’t hesitate to contact us at

Spring Break Camps

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we deeply regret that we must cancel our Spring Break Camps originally scheduled for March 16-20. Based on recent government advisories and an assessment of the potential risk to camp participants, we feel this is the only responsible decision at this time.  We apologize for any inconvenience. If you would like to attend one of our Summer Camps instead, we would be happy to transfer your registration over and hold a spot for you in your first choice of camps – just email or call us with your preferred camp and date. Alternatively, if Summer Camp is not an option for you, please let us know and we’ll promptly return your Spring Break Camp registration fee.

Private College Tours

To minimize risk to our staff, students, faculty, and the greater community, CMU is currently not accepting any private tour requests between March 14- April 5, 2020.

Graduation Ceremonies

We regret to inform that the graduation ceremony planned for March 27, 2020 must be postponed. We will contact all students as soon and post on this page as soon as we have an update.
