By April 14, 2020 May 27th, 2020 No Comments

In order to provide continuing education to our students during these unprecedented times, CMU launched online courses on March 30, 2020. While there are several program elements that can only be done in person, CMU’s online programs complement the in-person instruction that will take place when COVID-19 related restrictions are lifted. Until then, this blended learning approach provides our students with many advantages, including:

  • Daily learning, personally guided practice and instructor feedback
  • Interactive engagement with a supportive, creative community
  • Multiple ways to communicate and exchange ideas with both teachers and classmates
  • Diverse learning experiences
  • Flexibility and opportunity to learn at your own pace
  • Live demonstrations and video recordings of instructional sessions
  • 24/7 access to review materials repeatedly
  • Advancement with minimal disruption to other plans and opportunities later in the year
  • Development of life-long, high-value skills such as self-discipline
  • Earliest possible graduation dates and job-readiness without a prolonged delay

We have received a lot of questions from our student community around the blended learning approach, so we have compiled answers to the most frequently asked questions for your convenience.
