The Comprehensive Makeup Artist Program is one of our longest running diploma programs and offers extensive training in six disciplines of makeup artistry. Students will study each of these disciplines in-depth, learning how to create the looks and effects of each industry and how to create and apply their own designs for a variety of purposes. Artists will be able to prepare models for fashion shows and photo shoots, prepare actors for a film or television production, provide makeup for theatrical performances including operas and ballets, and work with prosthetics.

By popular demand, and based on detailed input from our faculty and students who asked for more class time for Fashion, Film and Television makeup, we have made a major curriculum update to The Comprehensive Makeup Artist Program. We also consulted with industry experts, employers and alumni who suggested that we shorten the Prosthetics course and focus it on Prosthetic applicationa key skill requirement for makeup artists working on a film set. Our updated Comprehensive Makeup Artist Program will not only provide cutting-edge makeup training to our students but also create industry-ready makeup professionals and help students launch into the professional world of makeup with ease and confidence.
