Film, TV and digital productions contributed $2B to Toronto’s economy in 2016

CBC News reports that film, TV and digital production have contributed more than $2 Billion to Toronto’s economy in 2016 – creating more job opportunities for makeup artists, special effects artists, and hair stylists!

As the film and entertainment industry was a “key economic driver,” Mayor John Tory has said, “As our film industry keeps growing every year we are going to create more jobs and more economic success.”
